Things to Do in Central NY

Central New York is an outdoor paradise, with some barbecue thrown in for good measure. This region has it all – the annual State Fair, Carousel Center (upstate’s landmark mall and the region’s biggest tourist destination), and Dinosaur Bar-B-Que, the honky tonk rib joint featured on The Travel Channel.

Throw in the world-class fishing, boating, and spas and you’ve got the makings of a golf trip and then some. The Mirbeau Inn and Spa feature an array of massage therapies and spa treatments for him and her. Down the road from Mirbeau is the picturesque resort village of Skaneateles, which sits on Skaneateles Lake, one of the famed Finger Lakes. Take a lake tour or enjoy the public park on the lake’s north shore. Oneida Lake is due north, with chartered fishing tours that will give you the thrill of sport fishing on the Great Lakes.
